2008
- 1st in British Supersport Cup Championship
The year started with a outstanding qualifying at brands hatch when Craig was the first privateer ever to qualify on the front row of the grid and continued to qualify in the top 10 for the most of the session
Craig went on to dormant the supersport cup by winning the championship and taking 10 podiums out of 10 rounds with 8 wins and 2 second places and finishing a very respectable 13th in the main championship
2007
- 2nd in British Supersport Priverteer Cup championship
Craig knew that
the move to The British 600 Supersport would be challenging as he had
no experience in this championship and it is undoubtedly one of most
fiercely fought of championships. Frustrations with technical and setup
problems in the earlier part of the session made it a bit of a slow
start! But by Round 5 we saw Craig starting to get the bike working
for him and taking his first win! Then went on to have 7 podiums out
of 10 rounds! 3 wins, 2 x 2nd, 2 x 3rd, 3 x 4th!!
And finished a very
respectable 2nd in his opening season.
2006 - National
Superstock championship
Craig’s
2006 season got off to a flying start winning the first round of the
National Superstock Championship. A crash in Round 2 left him injured
for Rounds 3 and 4. To add to the seasons woes Round 5 was cancelled.
Bad luck followed in Round 6 after an engine failure forced retirement
from the race. Craig was asked if he would like to test a CBR600 to
race for them in the supersport championship which he accepted. But
luck was still not on his side when in testing he crashed putting himself
out for the rest of the season.
2005
- 4th in National Superstock championship
The opening race
at Brands Hatch saw Craig break the Superstock lap record by setting
a time of 47.779 from pole position. He went on to finish on the podium.
The impressive
display had pleased the TV crews as Craig featured heavily in all further
TV coverage including making the opening credits shown on Sky Sports.
Craig achieved
4 more podiums and won the last round of the season and finished no
lower than 8th place all season.
2004
- 12th in National Superstock championship
In his first season
of the championship Craig managed to finish within the top 10 in every
race he completed securing 8th in the first round. Disappointingly
a crash in Rd9 put him out for the rest of the sesion. Craig finish
12th overall in the championship.
2004
- 20th in AMA Superbike Daytona 200
Craig raced in the
AMA Daytona 200 on Superstock and Superbike. He was also the only British
qualifier qualifying 24th in the Superbike and 18th in the Superstock.
Unfortunately
Craig retired from the Superstock race due to his leathers failing.
The Superbike race went well and from a starting position of 24th on
the grid, Craig managed to finish 20th out of 80 riders in this tuff
200 mile race!! He
also received exposure via the TV coverage at both races.
2003
- 1st in New Era Super Club Championship
Craig competed in
the Pro-Bike open class and without any sponsorship backing he purchased
a Suzuki GSXR 1000 K3. Taking 7 wins and 3 seconds saw him win the championship
comfortably. Craig also broke 2 New Era lap records in the season.
2003
- 1st in KRC British Endurance Championship
Craig was offered
the role as the No. 1 rider for team Hottrax after guest riding in the
second round where he took pole position and went on to win the race.
Continuing on to complete the 6 race championship with 2 other riders,
the team won 4 of the remaining 5 rounds. This resulted in the team
becoming overall champions.
2002
– 1st in New Era FRM Novice Championship
This was the start
of Craig’s racing career and the talent started to show immediately.
With only 9 races in the season Craig tallied up 5 wins and a further
2 podiums. This saw him win the Novice Pro Bike series and the overall
Novice championship by 84 points.
